Shoulder Surgery Preparation Tips

At the time of this article, I am 10 months post shoulder surgery.  My rotator cuff was repaired from a partial full tear of the supranational, along with some bone shaved off to improve impingement and some floating cartilage was removed.  The surgery was a success and I am back to full function.

In the video below, I summarise some things that I learned along the way.  I want to say I am not a doctor or a physical therapist.  However, my intent here with this post/video is to help others prepare for shoulder surgery with the hopes that it speeds up their recovery and/or makes it easier.  These are things I experienced, learned or was told through the process.

Feel free to share or post below with feedback that you might have experienced that can be shared with others as well.  “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”  -Ben Franklin
