At the time of this article, I am 10 months post shoulder surgery. My rotator cuff was repaired from a partial full tear of the supranational, along with some bone shaved off to improve impingement and some floating cartilage was removed. The surgery was a success and I am back to full function.
In the video below, I summarise some things that I learned along the way. I want to say I am not a doctor or a physical therapist. However, my intent here with this post/video is to help others prepare for shoulder surgery with the hopes that it speeds up their recovery and/or makes it easier. These are things I experienced, learned or was told through the process.
