Natural Iowa History: 1999
Let’s rewind back to 1999, a year to remember at the NANBF Natural lowa!
This was a stacked lineup for sure. & Winning the overall open women’s bodybuilding class and defending her title from the prior year was Suzanne Herzog-Lopez.
For men’s bodybuilding, Loren Wiltgen won the overall and lowa title (both winning their pro card). Malea Jensen took home the lowa title for the women.
Coreen Sweeney gave the short class a run for their money as well! Novice overalls went to Mary Van Der Maaten and dramatic poser Jason Roberson.
2024 will be the 30th anniversary of this competition and it is going to be awesome!
