For women’s bodybuilding, Christyn May earned the top spot and the pro card in a stacked class of competitors. For the overall men’s bodybuilding class, it was a battle. There were 3 large classes of competitors. Showing both amazing thickness and conditioning, Ryan Doris was awarded the overall title and natural pro card. This year, a new category was introduced, which was bikini. The inaugural open bikini champion was Lisa Barta. As we all know, it has continued to grow in popularity ever since! Taking the title and pro card in Figure in a well-earned fashion was Susan Bishop. She not only won her class but also the overall against a large field of three classes.

 

This year we supported the non-profit Childserve, an organization dedicated to helping kids with special needs. The Karl Schneider sportsmanship award went to Terre Kern, who remains a great supporter of the sport! Chidi Ekebere came back to the stage he won his pro card at and put on a great show as the guest poser.
